In this episode of The Fisheries Podcast, I chat with Dr. Paul Venturelli about some past, present, and future projects. We begin by discussing his past work looking at and utilizing fishing apps to gather data pertinent to fisheries managers. He is currently looking for a Ph.D. student to research rockfish and angler compliance with an app off the coast of British Columbia, so shoot him an email if you're interested: firstname.lastname@example.org. We then move on to another project he was involved with that also collected data from people, more specifically their attendance at AFS 145 in Portland. He and his collaborators looked into some of the factors that affected attendance of talks at that meeting. They also gathered data at the most recent meeting in Atlantic City and are currently in the process of analyzing that data.
Main Point: Data is a plural noun!
